Festive Willow Star Workshop

Create a festive willow star with the Sidney Nolan Trust.

Learn about the amazing properties of willow and the process of weaving with Basket Maker Chloe Benbow. Chloe is a multidisciplinary artist working seasonally as a basket maker and in the theatre & events world.

You will be guided through the process of making a willow star, starting with a strong dry willow frame and then weaving soaked willow through it.

These stars would make a perfect Christmas tree topper, candle centrepiece for your table or a festive decoration.

Suitable for complete beginners and children (with a helpful adult). All materials and tools will be provided all you need is your hands!
