ESL SUPPORTS TOURISM WITHOUT BORDERS

Empowering tourism without borders with Herefordshire’s neighbouring county of Shropshire, Team ESL was delighted to facilitate yet another of their highly successful Member Experience Days. Introducing ESL Member locations to interested tourism providers to build connections, these events expand their knowledge to help signpost their own guests to what’s around to enjoy.

This time it was a trip into the Marches area and a wonderful day just outside Ludlow, in south Shropshire, to Ludlow Farm Shop. The vast site includes the luxury Farm Shop that champions local and artisan food and drink products, with many gourmet own-brand ranges made onsite from the farm estate including in-house roasted coffee blends, which you can try before you buy.

Across the site, their new independent Gift Shop is packed with seasonally changing home and gift items, Ludlow Kitchen cafe and next door takeaway, and The Clive Arms; the family’s restaurant with rooms.

Add to this the ever-expanding Ludlow Distillery, which produces their famous Ludlow Gins, Ludlow Whisky as well as being a wine merchant, and operating daily tours, and you have a destination worthy of a whole day.

25 Tourism businesses from all around Herefordshire and the Marches were treated to tours and talks of all the Ludlow outlets, led by each company’s business teams. Discussing the challenges and successes of trading, these valuable insights enabled attendees to learn and exchange useful information in a social environment, while developing mutual relationships.

It’s so important to help businesses to engage and connect with eachother, such positive and useful conversations transpire and lasting relationships are always stronger when meeting face-to-face. We’re delighted to facilitate events like these and have done for many years. Look out for information on how to book onto our next one coming soon.

Thank you to all the Ludlow businesses who hosted this day so expertly and those attending businesses for supporting eachother and events like this that are so valuable for the Tourism sector.
