Bringing paper to life at Berrington Hall

‘Bringing paper to life’ by Denise Watson of ‘Delicarta’ at Berrington Hall, near Leominster in Herefordshire

Daily from Saturday 26 March to Sunday 6 November 2016  from 11am to 4pm

Celebrate the 300th anniversary of landscape architect ‘Capability’ Brown.  See the characters of Berrington brought to life in paper, in and around the ground floor of the hall at a new and unique exhibition.

Delicarta Berrington Hall

Delicarta’s exquisitely hand-crafted life size costumes from a distance look like they’re made of silk, but are in fact paper. Thomas Harley (first owner of Berrington Hall), ‘Capability’ Brown (who designed Berrington’s landscape in 1775), Henry Holland (who designed the hall) along with some of the workers, ladies and children of the house can all be seen daily.

Mannequins are designed and created by Denise Watson of Delicarta.

The exhibition is free but normal admission charges apply. No booking required.
