Comedy Night at The Gateway

The Gateway Cinema are pleased to announce their inaugural comedy night when the CrazyBird Comedy Club brings an incredible line-up of professional Stand-Up Comedians to Ross on Wye.

Headlining this great evening of entertainment will be English Comedian of the Year 2018 and Britain’s Got Talent 2018 Semi-Finalist Nick Page, “a huge dose of likeability with some very clever material” Bath Chronicle.

Supporting Nick will be three fantastic acts. First up will be Louise Leigh. In between whizzing about Bristol on her electric bike, and removing parasites from her family, Louise somehow finds time to turn in “an impressive performance” – John Hegley.

Next is the very funny Samantha Day. Despite being relatively new to the scene, Samantha will deliver a warm and set that guarantees to have the audience hanging on her every word.

Complimenting this awesome line-up is the Midlands Comedy Awards & Nottingham. Comedy Reviewers Award winner Douglas Carter who will regale you with entertaining general day to day observations coupled with hilarious stories and anecdotes including a true story about Jeremy Kyle who quotes Douglas as “I bloody hate that guy!”

The night will be hosted by MC Jon Wagstaffe ,“a naturally sharp & funny comedian, fresh like everything from Tewkesbury” who will regale you with stories of his weekend, complete with raucous detours, unfinished sentences, and inappropriately mixed metaphors!

Standard admission is £14 per person.
