Festival of Wood

A showcase of all things woodland including traditional management, arts, crafts and nature through stalls, demos & more at Queenswood Country Park and Arboretum.

A chance to see traditional woodcarving, woodturning, fretwork, horse logging, chainsaw carving and green woodworking. Have a go on a pole lathe and watch artists at work on their treescape paintings, amongst many other stalls.
There will be two book-in-advance guided walks.

1030 Walk | A guided walk in South Wood, Queenswood to explore the coppicing operations there with Nic Howes.

1400 Walk | A magical, guided walking experience around the spectacular Queenswood Arboretum in late Autumn with Paul Ratcliffe.
