Make a wild crown at Croft Castle
Make your very own wild crown at Croft Castle this Summer and take it home with you, made out of materials and flowers from the gardens.
You can even wear it as you defeat the pirates on the Swallows and Amazons trail around the gardens.
‘Wear a wild crown’ is also one of your ’50 things to do before you’re 11 3/4′. While you’re here, tuck into something tasty in the tea-room, discover more about the Second World War in the castle and run wild in our natural play area.
This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.
Croft Castle is run by the National Trust and sits deep in the heart of Herefordshire countryside surrounded by 1500 acres of historic woodland, farm and parkland. Families can step back in time and discover what life was like at Croft when it was a school for evacuated children during the war, with dressing up and games in the Family Room. Learn more.
Children welcome.
Dogs on leads are welcome.
