Ticket application opens for Festival of Lessons and Carols (22 & 23 December 7 pm)
Admission by (free) ticket only: application forms can be downloaded from the cathedral website – www.herefordcathedral.org or collected from the cathedral. If you are not able to access the website, please contact the Cathedral Office : 01432 374212.

All Souls Day Eucharist 5.30 pm
Fauré Requiem sung by the Cathedral Choir

The High Sheriff’s Lecture 2017
The Rt Hon Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales 2008-2013, will deliver the High Sheriff’s Lecture on Thursday 30th November.
The High Sheriff, the Revd Lady Lisvane, has taken as her theme tackling loneliness, and she wishes to support the Cathedral as an inclusive church welcoming everyone. So the proceeds of this lecture will go to the Hereford Cathedral Perpetual Trust.
The event will be in Court No 1 in the Shirehall at 7.15 pm, and will be preceded by a champagne and smoked salmon reception starting at 6.30 p.m..
Lord Judge has taken as the title of his lecture: 2017: is our Constitution broken? At a time of some national uncertainty, this is a fascinating and controversial subject. There will be an opportunity for questions to Lord Judge following his lecture.
