The Canterbury Tales at Queenswood

The Canterbury Tales at Queenswood

The Courtyard in collaboration with WildPlay are delighted to announce a Canterbury Tales event at Queenswood Country Park at the end of July.

Families can join the Canterbury Tales characters and follow their adventure through Queenswood Country Park.

It is the middle ages and an ill-matched group of strangers are setting off on a pilgrimage to Canterbury. Along the way, they have a storytelling competition, but who can tell the best tale?

The family friendly event will include a promenade performance around Queenswood’s Autumn Garden where The Courtyard Senior Youth Theatre will be performing snippets of their production. After the performance, children and families will be invited to take part in medieval activities hosted by WildPlay.

This outdoor family theatre experience has been organised in conjunction with The Courtyard’s Senior Youth Theatre production of The Canterbury Tales which will be performed at The Courtyard on Thursday 1, Friday 2 and Saturday 3 August at 7.30pm.

To book tickets for the production visit courtyard.org.uk or call Box Office on 01432 340555.

For more information and to book tickets for the event at Queenswood, visit queenswoodandbodenhamlake.org.

Please note that dogs will not be allowed into the garden during the event.
