Festive menus are available through December for Lunch, Dinner or Afternoon Tea. The Bookshop Festive Nights – Hereford City
In their style of bold flavours, meticulously crafted dishes and a warm ambiance create the perfect Christmas experience at The Bookshop’s Aubrey Street location, with delightful 2 or 3-course festive lunch options and a sumptuous 3-course dinner.

On New Years Eve from 7pm till late, Join in the massive Party In The Yard, combining food from across The Yard, The Bookshop & Burger Shop restaurants on Aubrey Street, your ticket will get you entry to The Yard and everything else from arrival. The Causeway Restaurant – Wormsley
Overlooking The Herefordshire Golf Course with expansive views of the beautiful grounds and the wider Herefordshire countryside, dining options in the lead up to the big day include Christmas platters with all your favourite bits in bitesize form.
There is a gastronomic 5 course Christmas Day feast and for New Years Eve prepare to put on your detective hat, as you attend a themed Murder Mystery Night along with a delicious 3 course meal and dancing before you welcome 2024 with Fireworks and Fizz at midnight.

The Angel Hotel – Abergavenny
This luxurious family owned, 4 Silver Star hotel, in the centre of Abergavenny offers some very special experiences this Christmas.
Kick-start the festive season at The Apres Ski Bar in the courtyard of The Angel, with Fondue nights every Tuesday and Thursday evening in December. Ski gear or traditional alpine attire essential.
Festive High Teas are an elegant affair with crisp white linen and silver tiered cake stands displaying an array of exquisite seasonal cakes and pastries. From 23 November, served from 1.00pm in the Wedgewood Room, Festive High Tea is also available in the three private dining rooms for groups of eight or more.
The Thai Supper Club offers an alternative taste of Christmas on 6, 13, and 20 December
Christmas Eve & Boxing Day The Angel closes at 4.00pm on Christmas Eve, and the revelry will continue at the Abergavenny Hotel until 7.00pm. The Angel will open again at 10.00am on Boxing Day.
On both days they will serve a special Luncheon Menu in the Oak Room for groups up to six guests and in the Foxhunter Bar and Wedgewood Room for groups up to ten guests from 12noon to 3.00pm.
For groups of ten or more guests, Christmas Eve Lunch can be enjoyed in one of the three private dining spaces; The Cellar, Brecon Room or Ballroom. Perfect for bringing the whole family together at Christmas.
See out the old year and welcome in the new one with opulent food, champagne and fireworks in a wonderful atmosphere on New Years Eve.
New Year’s Day – There is a celebratory atmosphere, with live music in the hotel foyer. The Foxhunter Bar will be serving New Year’s Day favourites; oysters, champagne and cocktails including Chase Smoked Vodka Bloody Marys.
Why not begin 2024 with fresh air in your lungs by joining the team for a guided walk through the local countryside, before returning to the hotel for a late lunch. Departing from the hotel at 11.00am, the walk will take about three hours. £60.00 per person, including lunch.

Barton Court – Colwall

Castle House Hotel – Hereford
One of Hereford’s most popular restaurants, the Castle House Restaurant is a special place to have your Christmas celebrations. Enjoy a scrumptious Festive Lunch, Dinner or Tea whilst overlooking the old Hereford Castle Moat and in earshot of the Cathedral bells.
On Christmas Eve there is a decadent High Tea from 12pm until 4pm with the Surgical Spirit Choir, singing Christmas Carols.

The Cottage of Content – Carey
The perfectly picturesque Cottage of Content in Carey have a Christmas line up perfectly matched to this picture book beamed pub and restaurant.
Chef owner Richard has conjured up a traditional 2 or 3 course menu, with local fare at the centre of it. Available Thursday to Saturday for lunch or dinner between 1-23 December, a minimum of 6 people can book this foodie destination.
The traditions of Christmas continue, with a Christmas Cottage Quiz night on 16 December and Christmas Carols by the fire on 21 December.
Open for lunch only on Christmas Eve and for drinks only on Christmas Day from 12 – 1:45pm for those wanting a little lunchtime escape!

The Loughpool Kitchen – Sellack
Set in the beautiful Wye Valley the lovely country pub atmosphere of The Loughpool is an ideal setting for your Christmas get together. Catering for groups of 8 or more there is a traditional 2 or 3 course Christmas menu available throughout December using locally sourced, seasonal food.
