Magical Aardvark Books is situated in a series of stone barns in Brampton Bryan.
The bookshop has over 50,000 new, second-hand and rare titles in stock with outstanding selections especially in the arts and history, and at its heart is a very popular café which serves refreshments, home-made cakes and light lunches.
There is also a Book burrow for children.
Almost all new books are half-price or less, other books are very reasonably priced, and the shop boasts a wonderful range of greetings cards.
There is ample parking for cars and coaches, and the café can serve up to 40 people – groups of more than 8 please contact us in advance.
Throughout the year Aardvark organises a range of events including art exhibitions, a Civil War Re-enactment in conjunction with the English Civil War Society (in August), plus car boots and music events.

Open Tuesday to Sunday 10am-4pm. Also open on Bank Holiday Mondays. Closed on 25 and 26 December and 1 January and Easter Sunday.
Brampton Bryan is an historic and beautiful village in the north of Herefordshire on the Shropshire border on the A4113 road between Leintwardine and Knighton.
