Cowshed Cottage and The Dairy

Cowshed Cottage and The Dairy are situated near to the pretty Gloucestershire village of Newland and nearby there is Offa’s Dyke, the border between England and Wales. Awarded 4-stars by Visit-England, the cottages are finished to exceptional standards – there is central heating, fitted carpets and high quality fixtures and fittings.

Both well-appointed holiday cottages – Cowshed Cottage and The Dairy – are single storey 2 bedroom self-catering holiday accommodation that can sleep up to 4 people. Each has a cosy lounge, well-equipped kitchen, dining area and your own outdoor space with patio, seating and BBQ.

Off-road parking is directly outside the cottage, there is also free secure storage for cycles, canoes, etc.

With ancient footpaths directly from the front door, you can walk nearby woods or canoe the River Wye – the choice is yours! Must visit spots include Tintern Abbey, Puzzlewood, and Symonds Yat Rock. Some of the UK’s most special National Trust and CADW sites are within easy reach too.

With caves and mines left over from the region’s mining industry, forests carpeted with seasonal flora, and plenty of pubs nearby to sample good old-fashioned British Ale – there is something for everyone in this unique area.

Weekly lets and flexible short breaks are available throughout the year. We don’t tell you your holiday has to start on a Saturday!

Accessibility:  Cowshed Cottage and The Dairy are both single storey cottages with parking directly outside the front doors and ramp access at the entrances.
