Get off the beaten track and discover Hicks Farm surrounded by unspoilt Herefordshire countryside.

On the farm are two well-maintained detached properties each with its own unique character and its own private garden! They can be booked individually or together to accommodate larger groups.

Orchard House is a spacious five bedroom barn conversion sleeping 14 with a ground floor bedroom suite which is wheelchair accessible – hearing loops are also fitted. The property is ideal for larger groups or those who require a downstairs bedroom.

Rose Cottage is a delightful early eighteenth century stone dwelling that has been extended to achieve a sizeable three bedroom property sleeping 7. The cosy character cottage is a favourite with couples and families alike.

Rose Cottage has a small BBQ cabin in its garden and a much larger one which will accommodate everyone from both properties for inside BBQing or sitting round the glowing charcoals. The larger cabin has a bar area with glassware and crockery for you to create your own Bar-  it is just for use by Orchard House guests when the properties are booked separately.

Whatever the occasion outside caterers are also happy to cook for guests “at home” and everyone from both houses can dine together in Orchard House’s large farmhouse kitchen.

Both properties share the Pool Barn leisure facilities. The indoor swimming pool is 11 metres by 5 metres so plenty of room for everyone. Upstairs the games room has a pool table and table football, younger visitors can enjoy the Brio train table and toy corner. The ground floor of this building is wheelchair accessible. Outside the building is a play area with climbing frame, slide and sandpit.  And do not forget there is a farm to explore too!

Accessibility: Orchard House is a barn conversion where we have specifically built with the downstairs to be wheel chair friendly. All doors are wider and power points/light switches at accessible height. The house also has a downstairs bedroom with ensuite (grab rails for wheel chair transfer are in place). There is ramped access to Orchard House.
The swimming pool has a large wet room and changing rooms which again are wheelchair accessible and guests use this in private if needs be. There is ramped access to the Pool Barn the toilet has transfer space and grab rails for the wheelchair user.
The car parking areas, drives and farmyard (where you can see the animals) are all tarmacked for a smoother ride for pushchairs and wheelchairs alike.
Orchard House has fitted hearing loops in the lounge, kitchen and downstairs bedroom suite for those with suitable hearing aids.
Rose Cottage which is an old character cottage doesn’t have a downstairs bedroom suite but both upstairs bathrooms are low access sided with grab rails – helpful for both adults and children (or parents leaning over to bath the baby!!).
