Charmingly located in the centre of “chocolate box village” Pembridge, Old Chapel Gallery occupies a wonderful former Victorian Chapel and sources the best in handmade British contemporary fine arts & crafts.
From garden sculptures to objet’s d’art, jewellery to homeware, fine art, prints, woodcraft, ironwork, textiles and ceramics, these are made by both emerging and established artists and makers.
Old Chapel Gallery is firmly established as a centre of excellence for casual browsers and serious collectors alike. Lovers of contemporary British arts and crafts can find work by local and nationally established artists and makers, alongside the innovative work of talented newcomers.
Popular artists include Amanda Clark, Chrissie Nash, David England, Deborah Scaldwell, Frans Wesselman, Hilke MacIntyre, Iris Milward, James Donovan, Jemima Jameson, John Maltby, Lesley Strickland, Mary Ann Rogers, Philip Hearsey, Piers Browne, Robert Palmer and Tamsin Abbott.
Work from every medium is commissionable and exhibitions are held regularly throughout the year in the upstairs gallery, in a variety of media, which provides the opportunity to introduce new young makers alongside well-known names.
