The Clive Arms

Situated on the outskirts of the beautiful historic town of Ludlow just off the A49, The Clive Arms offers the perfect base to explore the stunning countryside of South Shropshire and the Welsh Marches. 

This beautiful Georgian building provides luxury accommodation and dining in a relaxed atmosphere, where guests can enjoy dishes created from fresh, local, and seasonal produce. 

The Clive Arms boasts 17 large, beautifully appointed and spacious rooms, offering the perfect place to relax, unwind, and explore.  For something extra special, the Plymouth or Windsor suites offer the highest levels of space, comfort, and finish. Each room is unique, so guests are encouraged to discuss their preferences with the team, whether they need a family room, a dog-friendly room, a twin room, or an extra bed. 

After a great night’s sleep, a hearty breakfast is available just a few steps away at Ludlow Kitchen Café, where chefs use fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients to create food that is traditional with a modern twist. The location is also home to Ludlow Farm Shop, with its own estate-to-plate gourmet products and local producer emporium, plus dedicated gift shop (and seasonal Christmas Shop), and Ludlow Distillery for Gin and spirits tours, tastings, making experiences and shopping. 

Dinner is served in the dining room from Wednesday to Saturday, and lunch is available from Thursday to Sunday. Guests can also book a delicious Afternoon Tea from Wednesday to Saturday.
